M. J. Lee Construction Company is the recipient of numerous awards for excellence in our industry. Following, are a few of our recent recognitions.
2005 Oklahoma Department of Transportation Pharoah Award -
M.J. Lee Construction was awarded the 2005 Oklahoma Department of Transportation (ODOT) Pharaoh Award. To be eligible for this prestigious award M. J. Lee was nominated by the Resident Engineer from the State Transportation Department. The Pharaoh was awarded for the construction of one of ODOT's most challenging projects [NHY-13N(22)] in McIntosh, County near Eufaula Oklahoma. The bridge, on US Highway 69 and spanning State Highway 9, was scheduled to be constructed in 2 phases so that traffic would never stop throughout the project duration and M.J. Lee successfully met this challenge. The 340’ 3 span bridge is anchored at the piers with 12- 40’ deep drilled shafts and at the abutments with 80-12” H-piles ranging in length from 25 to 45’. The bridge and slope wall consist of over 3600 cubic yards of concrete and over ½ million lbs. of steel.
